Apart from the benefits to the community,
you will hardly know it’s there.

Setting new standards in low impact mining.

Terramin will inspire confidence in the local community that a working mine is both compatible and desirable.

Extensive management plans to minimise noise, water table impact, fauna and flora impacts, dust and detrimental visual impacts have been submitted with our Mining Leasing Application to the appropriate government agencies.

Low Profile

Mine infrastructure is designed to be well within the boundaries of our land and largely hidden from view by extensive tree stands and vegetation. Anything that can be seen will be designed to fit in with the surrounding architecture.

Small Footprint

The mine will pioneer surgical extraction of gold through a single keyhole entry. Operations taking place at the Bird in Hand mine will be simply extracting rock underground. Processing will take place at Strathalbyn.

Minimal water impact

Water removed from the mine will be supplied to neighbours - free of charge - and surplus water filtered and pumped back into the aquifer.

Extensive Community Consultation

Terramin’s recently submitted Mining Lease Proposal (MLP) follows 5 years of extensive community consultation.

Our MLP is a result of this transparent consultative process. It meets highest standards of regulatory oversight. And, has been subject to rigorous operational modelling.

We have worked, in good faith, to address the concerns of various interest groups, many commercial, to develop a world-class proposal that is sympathetic to the region and that will set a benchmark for low impact mine planning and execution.
